Hinckley Cemetery
If you’d like to bring ashes to Hinckley Cemetery on Ashby Road, we can talk about burial or scattering. Tell me if there’s a family grave you’d like me to check first.

Arranging a burial here
The council lists grave purchase and burial as separate charges. There is also an area for green burial. If a natural burial matters to your family, I’ll check the space, the arrangements and the memorial choices for that section.
Burial of ashes or scattering at Ashby Road
At Hinckley you can arrange to bury a casket of ashes in a grave. Scattering has its own arrangements, either in a designated area or under the turf of a grave your family holds, with permission. If you have an existing plot, give me the details so we can check what will work.
How much would it cost?
If you’d like to know the cost of an interment of ashes, give me a call. I’ll check the cemetery fees and explain any charge for our help. You can ring even if someone else arranged the cremation.

Each date has its own page in the book and the page is turned daily. There are vases and stands in the room if you would like to bring flowers. If you hope to visit on an anniversary, check the room is open before travelling.
Finding your way here
Ashby Road, Hinckley, Leicestershire, LE10 1SL
Get directions on Google MapsAccess for cars depends on the main gates. During a funeral the council limits vehicles inside to those in the funeral cortege. If a guest needs to be dropped close to the grave, tell me beforehand so I can check the plan.
A weekend visit by car
At weekends the pedestrian gates stay open but the main vehicle gates close. The Book of Remembrance room keeps its own hours. If someone needs to come by car right up to the grave, it is worth checking before you set off.
