If you’d like a service in the cemetery chapel at Thurmaston, I can check a time for the chapel and the burial together. Tell me if anyone will need help getting to the grave.
Arranging a burial here
The parish council distinguishes full burial sections and provision for cremated remains. I can check the current conditions for the plot you have in mind and the charges that apply.
Burial of ashes in a casket plot
Thurmaston Parish Council offers casket plots for ashes. Buying the plot and placing the ashes in it are separate parts of the arrangement. If the family bought a plot some time ago, tell me what papers you have so we can check what still needs to be done.
How much would it cost?
If you’d like to know the cost of an interment of ashes, give me a call. I’ll check the cemetery fees and explain any charge for our help. You can ring even if someone else arranged the cremation.

There is a chapel at Thurmaston Cemetery. If you would like to use it, we can ask the burial clerk about a booking before arranging the graveside time. Let me know if anyone needs help getting between the chapel and the grave.
Tracing a grave at Thurmaston
