Mountsorrel Cemetery
If someone coming to a burial at Mountsorrel struggles to walk, tell me while we’re planning the funeral. I can check where the grave is in relation to the chapel and parking.

Arranging a burial here
The parish council administers burials here. Give me the name on any family grave and the deed if you have it, so I can ask about the rights, space and arrangements for a further burial.
Burial of ashes in a family ashes plot
Mountsorrel has a separate area for ashes. Each plot there can hold up to four sets. If your family has already used a plot, tell me who is buried there. I can help check the record and how much room remains.
How much would it cost?
If you’d like to know the cost of an interment of ashes, give me a call. I’ll check the cemetery fees and explain any charge for our help. You can ring even if someone else arranged the cremation.

The council keeps plans showing the burial sections as well as a graves register. You can ask for an appointment to look at them. That can help if you know someone was buried in Mountsorrel but you have never been to their grave.
