Ibstock Cemetery
If you’d like a small service in the chapel on Pretoria Road, or you’re thinking about burying ashes here, give me a call. I can check the arrangements and talk you through the cost.

Arranging a burial here
For a coffin burial at Ibstock, the parish council uses the lawn section. If you’d like a headstone, an authorised stonemason needs to obtain a permit before fitting it. We can check the size allowed before you choose a stone.
Burial of ashes at Ibstock
Ashes can be buried in the New Garden of Remembrance. If you’d like several members of the family to rest together, a lawn plot can be used for more than one ashes casket. The cemetery does not allow scattering.
How much would it cost?
If you’d like to know the cost of an interment of ashes, give me a call. I’ll check the cemetery fees and explain any charge for our help. You can ring even if someone else arranged the cremation.

Visiting and leaving flowers
From October to March the gates open at 8am and close at 3pm. From April to September they stay open until 6pm. In the New Garden of Remembrance, place flowers in the vase on the memorial. Keeping the grass clear leaves room for the grounds team to cut it.
