Groby Lane Cemetery, Newtown Linford
At Newtown Linford even getting a car through the gates needs some planning. If you’re arranging a burial and somebody needs to be driven close to the grave, tell me on your first call.

Arranging a burial here
Newtown Linford Parish Council sets the cemetery rules and charges. I can ask about an existing grave or a new plot and check the relevant eligibility requirements before arrangements are made.
Burial of ashes in a shared plot
An ashes plot at Newtown Linford has room for two caskets. The council asks for wood or another biodegradable material. If you plan to keep space for a partner, we can check the plot details before you choose a casket.
How much would it cost?
If you’d like to know the cost of an interment of ashes, give me a call. I’ll check the cemetery fees and explain any charge for our help. You can ring even if someone else arranged the cremation.
