Scraptoft Natural Burial Ground
At Scraptoft, coffin graves are for one person. If you want two people to rest together, I can ask about side by side plots and check the costs before the first grave is chosen.

Arranging a natural burial
Scraptoft has meadow and woodland areas. Burial, burial of ashes and scattering of ashes are different arrangements here. I can talk through which you have in mind and check the rules for that choice.
Choosing a place for the burial of ashes
At Scraptoft you can ask about a plot for ashes with space for a tree. You can also choose a slate plaque, and the ground allows native meadow flowers or bulbs. If you’d like room for someone else’s ashes later, let’s check the plot you need before you buy it.
How much would it cost?
If you’d like to know the cost of an interment of ashes, give me a call. I’ll check the cemetery fees and explain any charge for our help. You can ring even if someone else arranged the cremation.

Coffin graves at Scraptoft are dug for one person. If two people wish to be buried alongside each other, ask about a pair of plots or a family area. A neighbouring plot can be chosen at the same time. It cannot be held for later without payment.
Choosing the plot on a visit
The ground covers six acres, with woodland and open meadow on the slope. Plots can be chosen in advance. If a relative uses a walking aid, we can ask to see the route from the entrance to the particular plot you are considering.
