Huncote Cemetery
If you want to keep ashes together at Huncote, ring me before choosing an urn. I’ll ask the parish to confirm what the particular plot can hold.
Arranging a burial here
The council’s rules give burial rights to parishioners and former parishioners of long standing. Other people can ask for the council’s discretion. Full burial plots and ashes plots in the Garden of Remembrance have separate arrangements.

Garden of Remembrance plots have a headstone fitted with a stainless steel plaque supplied by the parish. You can choose the words and send them to the clerk before engraving. If you hope to add a second name later, we can ask about space on both the plaque and the plot.
How much would it cost?
If you’d like to know the cost of an interment of ashes, give me a call. I’ll check the cemetery fees and explain any charge for our help. You can ring even if someone else arranged the cremation.

If you hope to be buried beside someone, Huncote’s rules allow you to ask about reserving a pair of neighbouring graves. The clerk has the numbered cemetery plan. We can check the spaces and ask for the arrangement in writing.

LE9 3BH is used in funeral directions for the Forest Road approach. Look for the cemetery gates near Sportsfield Lane.
