Earl Shilton has several churches and its own Town Council cemetery. It does not yet have an operating crematorium, so families currently use established crematoria in Nuneaton, Leicester and South Leicestershire. Bay Tree can coordinate the complete arrangements while your loved one remains in our care at our funeral home and private Chapel of Rest in Blaby.
St Simon & St Jude Church
St Simon & St Jude is Earl Shilton’s Church of England parish church on Church Street and Almeys Lane. Bay Tree can liaise with the church and coordinate the funeral director’s responsibilities, subject to its pastoral arrangements and availability.

Mill Lane Cemetery
Mill Lane Cemetery is Earl Shilton’s local burial ground and is one of the parks and open spaces managed by Earl Shilton Town Council. The cemetery is on Mill Lane, and current burial rights, fees, permissions and availability should be confirmed before funeral timings are fixed.
Burial and ashes arrangements
Bay Tree can coordinate a new-grave enquiry, reopening an eligible family grave, burial paperwork, ashes interment or memorial arrangements, subject to the cemetery authority’s current rules, rights, fees and availability.
