St Wilfrid’s is the parish church for both Kibworth villages. If you’d like the funeral to begin there, I can speak to the church administrator about the service, then plan the journey on to the cemetery or crematorium.

Planning the service

We can start with the person you’ve lost. Perhaps there’s a hymn they loved, a reading that reminds you of them or someone who would like to speak. I’ll talk with the person leading the service about how to include those wishes.

Where should people meet if the burial is at Kibworth Cemetery?

St Wilfrid’s is on Church Road. Kibworth Cemetery is on Harborough Road. Tell me who you’d like at each part of the day and I can help put the right address and time on their invitations.

Finding the church

Church Road, Kibworth, Leicester, LE8 0NB

Give relatives the church name, Church Road and LE8 0NB. Some directions say Kibworth Beauchamp and others say Kibworth Harcourt. This is the same church. If anyone needs step free access, I can check the best way in with the parish before the day.

Check the time and place on the family’s funeral notice before you travel. If Bay Tree is arranging the funeral, you can call me with a question about the day.

After the church service

For a burial

Tell me if there’s a family grave or a burial place you have in mind. I’ll check availability, permission and costs before we agree the arrangements.

Burial arrangements

For a cremation

We’ll agree who would like to go on to the crematorium. I’ll check the two service times together and allow for the journey between them.
